-ing分(fen)(fen)詞的(de)被(bei)動(dong)式(shi)表示它的(de)邏輯主語是-ing分(fen)(fen)詞動(dong)作(zuo)(zuo)的(de)承受者。根據-ing分(fen)(fen)詞動(dong)作(zuo)(zuo)發生的(de)時間，-ing分(fen)(fen)詞的(de)被(bei)動(dong)式(shi)有一般(ban)被(bei)動(dong)式(shi)(being done)和完(wan)成(cheng)被(bei)動(dong)式(shi)(having been done)。如：
The question being discussed is very important. 正在被討論(lun)的問題很重要。
He never talked about his having been interviewed by the reporter. 他(ta)從來沒(mei)談起過他(ta)被記者采訪的(de)事情。
Having been criticized by the teacher, he gave up smoking. 被老師批評以后，他把煙戒了。
注意：在(zai)need, want, require, be worth等(deng)動(dong)(dong)詞(短(duan)語)后(hou)，作賓語的-ing分詞常用(yong)主動(dong)(dong)形式來表示被(bei)動(dong)(dong)含義。如：
Your shoes need cleaning. = Your shoes need to be cleaned. 你的鞋需要清洗一下了。
This book is well worth reading. 這本書很值得一看。
